Dinner for 8 (d48)

dinners for eight, d48...is a new small group ministry. These small groups are short-term, relational, and designed to help people meet others in the church, develop friendships and connect into the Calvary community. Participants will be placed in a small group that will meet five times in the next five months January-May. (May will be optional, based on the individual group's preference.)

When you are the host of your small group, you will:

· Contact members of your group to set time, date, and location of your next dinner.

· Provide the main dish and beverage, if at a home. Everyone else brings sides/desserts. (If at a restaurant, everyone pays for their own meal.)

· Choose the type of meal. Dinners can vary from formal dining to backyard cookout, from swim parties to sharing a pizza at Il Vicino.

January 20, 2012 will be a Kick Off Potluck Dinner at 6:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Meet the other members of your group, dine with them and schedule the remaining four months' meals. Childcare will be provided for the Kick Off Dinner.
